This series is inspired by the Victorian custom of communicating through flowers and leaves, each with their own specific meaning. The "language of flowers" was used back in the 1800s to send meaningful messages, convey deep secrets and share thoughts that were unable to be spoken aloud during that time. The yellow chrysanthemum here represents "slighted love," "rejection," or "sadness."
